Room 100
Lead Teacher: Laila Smith
Laila holds a BS in Biology and a Master of Science in Biology. She has over 15 years of experience teaching children and young adults. She has been at CFMC Preschool for 4 years, and all four of her children graduated from the Preschool. Her favorite part about working with children is experiencing their enthusiasm for life. Children are like sponges, soaking up everything around them!
Assistant Teacher: Lindsay Fry
Lindsay is a returning assistant teacher who previously taught at CFMC Preschool and returned in March of 2022. She is a Georgia native, mom of three daughters and longtime church member at Canton First Methodist. Her heart is for young children.

Room 101
Lead Teacher: Jeanne Sullivan
Jeanne has a BS Degree in Special Education from the University of Georgia. She has been married to her beloved husband, Dave, for over 30 years. They have three wonderful children and one great daughter-in-law and are blessed with three amazing grandchildren. Jeanne has served in the preschool ministry here at Canton First for over 20 years.
Assistant Teacher: Deidre Fann
Deidre worked in the Fulton County school system for over 20 years and taught preschool for several years before that. She is married and has two children and five grandchildren. She loves the kindness and enthusiasm of children and their sweet smiles.
Room 103
Lead Teacher: Jennifer Kincaid
Jennifer has over 10 years of experience working with children, and she has been at CFMC Preschool since 2015. Her passion is for serving others especially children. Serving others is a great way to show God’s love. She is married with 3 daughters and a grandson.
Assistant Teacher: Danika Evans
Danika is starting her first year with CFMC Preschool. She is married with two children, one daughter and one son. Danika and her husband, manage and coach a youth girls softball team on the weekends. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and relaxing at home. Danika has always loved young children and excited to work with her new preschool class.
Room 104
Lead Teacher: Emily Reinhart
Emily has over 26 years' experience working in the Cherokee County Elementary school system and prior to that worked in the preschool setting. This is her second year at the CFMC Preschool program teaching the Fours. Her favorite thing about teaching is fostering curiosity and creativity in young children while watching them make connections and get excited about learning. Emily and her husband, Reese, have two young, active boys who they cherish spending time with whether doing sports and going to activities, traveling, attending church, or just playing and relaxing at home.
Assistant Teacher: Vilma Pedro Mateo
Vilma loves working with kids and feels they are an inspiration. She works with kids at her own church and has been there for about 5 years! Vilma’s future plans include becoming a Middle School or High School teacher.
