CARE MINISTRY

The Care Ministry comprises many ongoing ministry areas that are staffed by caring volunteers. This ministry includes all areas of congregational care, including the following:

Prayer ministry
Homebound visitation and communion to shut-ins
Hospital, home, and assisted living visits
Care Mail card ministry for homebound
GriefShare groups, seminars and booklets
Flower ministry to Canton Nursing Center
Bereavement food
Caregiver Support Groups and periodic seminars
Stephen Ministry
Craft ministries such as Hands for God, Prayer Quilt Ministry, and Easter Baskets
Transportation for Sunday service from The Lodge at BridgeMill and The Arbor at BridgeMill
DVD Ministry for those unable to worship with us online or in-person

GriefShare assistant facilitators (training provided)
People to help deliver flowers to nursing homes
People to help make or deliver Easter Baskets
Caregivers and care receivers for Stephen Ministry (training provided)
Knitters or crocheters for Hands for God
